Wake Up Enjoying Life





I woke up refreshed this morning. It's always nice to get a goods nice rest to prepare you for the day. Lack of sleep has the potential to put you in a negative mood. Sleep deprivation has been known to cause irribility, excessive sleepiness, and lack of focus among other symptoms.  Its something I'm actively working on because I tend to go to bed late.

I started my morning with fasted cardio on the greenway trails with my bestie, Didi. The weather was in the low 30s, but it felt like it was in the mid 40s. We bundled up in our cold weather gear and jogged for 3 miles conquering 2 big hills. My legs were still sore from Monday's plyometric routine; so it was an accomplishment to finish 3 miles without dying. lol





During our run, I randomly broke out into a cartwheel because I'm silly like that and don't take myself too seriously. I have a very care free spirit. Thank goodness for that especially with all the craziness and negativity going on in the world right now. I do my best not to let it disturb my inner peace.

I can only control myself and do my part in making the world a better place. I refuse to be consumed by fear, hate, propaganda, negativity, etc. It's easy to get lost in the "cause" if you're not careful. I wont get too deep into politics here. All you have to do is turn on the TV or tune into social media for that.
