Not Feeling It

I woke up this morning feeling extremely tired despite going to bed early. I decided against my body's wishes to hit the gym anyway. I ended up feeling weak, dizzy and fatigued towards the end of my routine, so I cut cardio short. I felt terrible. I went home and rested the rest of the evening. 

I enjoyed some plain yogurt topped with Larabar Renola for an afternoon snack. It was my first time trying the granola and it didn't disappoint. I will be purchasing more in a larger size. 

For dinner, I whipped up shrimp pesto over a bed of sautéed squash and zucchini. It literally only took five minutes to prepare. How awesome is that? I used one half pound of white shrimp and two tablespoons of the pesto. I sautéed the shrimp in the pesto until cooked through then poured it over the squash. You can easily make your own pesto using simply ingredients, but if you’re in a time crunch the Three Bridges brand works wonderful. I'm going to serve it up with angel hair pasta next time. 

Try it with your favorite pasta noodle and meat. I promise you'll love it!
