Back and Biceps + The Perfect Shrimp

Quote for the day.

Change doesn't come easy, but the results are well worth the effort.

Flexing :)
I went to the lab to work back and biceps followed by 30 minutes of cardio. I set a goal today that I would push myself to do 3 sets of 5 un-assisted pull-ups. I was able to do all 3 sets minus one repetition on the last set. I was proud of myself considering I hadn't been training my upper body for pull-ups lately.

After last nights delectable shrimp dinner it left me craving more. I searched google for shrimp recipes and came across this brilliant pairing of shrimp, cucumber, and avocado.

The recipe and steps can be found here on AverageBetty.com. I had all the ingredients in my pantry so I was super excited to try this out after today's workout. I followed the recipe the same expect for a few small changes. I didn't use parsley and I broiled my shrimp instead of grilling them. They came out wonderful. It reminded me of sushi with out the seaweed wrap or rice. If you love shrimp then you'll definitely enjoy this low-calorie healthy bite.
