Monday's Workout + Food


Started my day right with a good filling breakfast. I had plain rolled oats with egg muffins. My muffins were made with whole eggs, spinach, cheese, and turkey sausage.


Headed over to the gym to get in a awesome chest, tricep, and abs workout. I followed that with about 30 minutes of steady state cardio.


Lunch was baked lump crab cakes with sautéed zucchini. I like to bake my crab cakes first then pan fry them in a non stick skillet to create a crust. Check out this awesome recipe for baked crab cakes here.


I made chicken alfredo for dinner. It was so good and simple to make. I used a store bought light alfredo sauce, chicken tenderloins, mini penne pasta, and shredded parmesan cheese. I seasoned and then sautéed my chicken in extra virgin olive oil until it was no longer pink, added in the cooked mini penne and tossed with the alfredo sauce. I roasted my asparagus in extra virgin olive oil with garlic and kosher salt.
