Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Breakfast is by far the most important meal of the day, providing the body with energy needed to jumpstart its batteries. There are a number of reasons why one would feel the need to not eat breakfast; however, skipping may lead to a number of problems if attempting to lose weight or maintain a healthy lifestyle. I personally feel lethargic by mid-day if I skip out on breakfast, and contrary to popular belief it doesn't have to be an extravagant meal. High fiber cereals, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, smoothies, or oatmeal suffice to supplement the body. Remember, breakfast should include a healthy source of protein and fiber to keep you satisfied until lunchtime. In the long run, a nutritious breakfast will keep you from overeating at lunch and/or dinner. Read more to see what I eat.
