It’s that time of year again! The holiday season is upon us, and it’s important to give thanks and give back. With “Black Friday” peaking ever so slightly around the corner, I thought it to only be fitting to host my first “Digital Curls, Get It Girls” giveaway on November 29, 2013. The grand prize for this giveaway is a three-month subscription to “Weight Watchers online!” The purpose of this giveaway is to promote health and wellness, and treat one lucky winner to a prize, which will jumpstart their weight loss journey. 

To any interested party, your entry into the “Digital Curls, Get It Girls” giveaway is simple; the instructions are as follows:

3. Provide a comment below explaining why “fitness” is important to you.

  1. Fun! Fitness is important to me because I'm trying to set a better example for my daughters. I've currently lost about 30 lbs but I'm still going! Love your Facebook motivation.

  2. I've been thinking about this question a lot lately. I realize I can be unhappy in a body I don't feel comfortable in or I change. Fitness to me is personal. It is striving to over come what ever obstacles you create or society fosters. And most importantly fitness is the realization and ACTION to change your overall health. Fitness is about being a healthier you.

  3. Everyone on both sides of my family is diabetic. Numerous heart and thyroid-related illness also plagues my family. I want to be the generation that ends the illness and begins the wellness. Fitness is important to me because I want to speak life into the next generation and pass on the life change to my future children.

  4. Fitness is something that my entire Family struggles with, we all like good food, meaning food that tastes good, not necessarily good for you. I am trying my darnedest to wrap my head around portion control. I've always been good about knowing what I SHOULD EAT, but I'm still missing something, not sure what.

  5. When I was younger dieting or skipping meals, even had a bout with Bulemia, just to be "skinny". It was never about being healthy and fit. Now that I have a teenager daughter dealing with weight/body issues. I believe it's time I do it right. Working out and Eating Right. It's hard some days because I'm so tired after work and I have no time in the morning. I am so glad I found your page from your post on curlynikki.com
