Squat Technique Tips:
1.   hip hinge – hinge hip to move backwards like you’re sitting in a chair
2.   straight head position – don’t not round your neck or look down
3.   chest out shoulders back – keeps your spine alingned correctly
4.   slightly arched lower back – keep your lower back flat not to overarch
5.   athletic stance, toes pointed out – helps with stabilization
6.   exhale up/inhale down – make sure you breathe properly
7.   depth of squat - will depend on flexibility (Click here for more details)





     If you're participating in the squat challenge take a before picture starting on November 1st, so that you can compare your end of the month results. Also the squats can be broken up into sets through out the day. You do not have to perform them all in one setting.
