Back in the Gym

This picture is hilarious, but so true at the same time. The gym will have you feeling like a super hero. lol! Today was my first day back in the gym after a 2-month hiatus. I only went a few weekends during the summer break. I continued to exercise at home and watched how I ate, which allowed me to maintain my weight and muscles gains. It was tough some days, but so worth it in the end. I'm anxious to see where my strength and endurance levels. Thank goodness for muscle memory right?

I had turkey egg muffins topped with provolone cheese and a side of fruit for breakfast. Delicious! 

I had an awesome workout today. I decided to do a total body workout to include super-sets as well as 30 minutes of cardio. I did some extra stretching this evening in anticipation for some soreness tomorrow.
