My Leg Day


Woke up to some pretty nasty weather today. I got the kids off to school and made my way to the gym anyway. I worked legs and lower back today. Using free weights sculpts and defines your legs. Who doesn't want nice legs and glutes?! 

Today's Leg Workout

back squat with barbell- 6 sets of high to low reps starting at 15 reps ending at 6 for the last set ( I started with light weighted plates ending with the heaviest I could take which is 155lbs)
decline leg press - 4 sets of 12 reps
side lunges with dumbbells - 4 sets of 15 reps
deadlifts with dumbbells - 4 sets of 12 reps 
quadriceps extension machine - 4 sets of 15 reps
standing leg curl - 4 sets of 10 reps
