Song of the Day: (Memorial Day Tribute) May 28, 2012

One of the most difficult aspects of being a part of the military is the constant transition. Whether it's transitioning from one duty station to the next, transitioning from pre-deployment to post deployment, or transitioning from celebrating life with your loved one to celebrating life without. On this day we need to remember and celebrate the lives of those men and women who have paid a price for the sake of freedom. It's important to recognize all who have served and volunteered their services to defend this great nation. In the spirit of prayer and providing comfort as Christians we need to be intercessors for one another, and thank God for providing our service men and women with the strength and courage needed to carry on through every trial and tribulation. We need to pray for the safe keeping of those service members who are in harms way, we need to pray for the stability of the families eagerly awaiting their return, and we need to pray for those who have lost a husband, wife, father, mother, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece, and/or cousin to the debt of war. Hopefully those family members who have lost a loved one have found comfort in knowing they have a Father in Heaven who has prepared a place for all of His children, and like each of them our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ will be waiting for us when we finally make it home!

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
