Creamy Parmesan & Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Penne

I buy and use a lot of McCormick seasonings, and I'm always on the look out for something new to spice up dishes. Variety is the spice of life and by trying new recipes it'll keep you on track with healthy eating since you're not always eating the same thing. I came across the new McCormick Gourmet recipe and seasoning mix in the grocery store and decided to give one a try. I went with the Creamy Parmesan & Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Penne mix. Since I always have chicken breast in the freezer, I only needed to pick up a few other key ingredients. The recipe was easy to follow and it took me only 20 minutes to prepare. I will definitely be trying more flavors from this product line. 

My favorite go to chicken, Perdue Fit & Easy

Per the recipe I browned the chicken in butter and fresh garlic(optional). You can also omit the butter and use extra virgin olive oil. 

I added steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and my favorite garlic bread by Alexia on the side to complete the meal. Simply delicious! My Husband and kids gave it 5 stars! I felt like I was eating at some fancy Italian Restaurant, but for a fraction of the cost. I think I'm going to try the Smoked Sausage and Pepper Creole Jambalaya mix next!
