Vitamins

I've been on the search for a good multivitamin and came across this skin and beauty wellness pack by Nature Made at my local Walgreens. Normally, I just take a generic prenatal vitamin and they work just fine. I feel now that I'm getting older my body may require more. I wanted to start taking a hair, skin, and nails vitamin, but most of them require you to take a pill 3 times a day. I was so excited when I came across these vitamins because they offer the beauty benefits in one pill among other great benefits.  Although there are 5 pills in a pack, they can all be taken at the same time with a meal.

The pills are relatively small and easy to swallow.

Here is a list of the pills in the packet and there benefits.

I'm going to be taking these vitamins for 60 to 90 days to see if the benefits they promise are true. Most vitamins usually take 60 days or more to kick in. I'll definitely let you know if I notice a difference while taking them. The only negatives I see about these vitamins are the price. They run between 18 to 24 dollars depending on where you buy them. One box contains a 30-day supply. Do any of you take vitamins/supplements? If so what brand and what is your experience with them?

  2. I tried One a Day brand and my stomach couldn't take them. I asked my Doctor and she recommended regular old prenatal vitamins as they have everything we need. Vitafusion multivitamin gummies are easy on the stomach and can be found at Walmart, target, or just about any drug store. They average between 4 to 7 bucks. Any brand of prenatal vitamins would do also. What are your needs as far as vitamins go?

  3. My experiment with the vitamins listed in this post will be effectiveness. The price is a put off for sure, but if they work then I may see if buying them separately is more cost effective. When buying single vitamins versus multipacks you may get more pills per bottle. I'll keep you all posted on it.

  4. I honestly dont know what vitamins to take, or that i need.... Prenatales are horrid. They stopped me up, and I refused to take them ever again, after that experience. I know that was a bit TMI.. sorry.

  5. Yikes, I'm sorry to hear that! I think that's why I've been afraid to take iron pills, lol! I think the Vitafusion brand (multivitamin) would be good for you. They're easy on the stomach.
