Inspirational Insight: A Worthy Friend

A Worthy Friend

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be easy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
Titus 2:3-5

I thank You for the relationships I have with other women. Some have already walked through the experiences I am having. Their shared wisdom encourages me to keep going, to take a new look at my situation, to be thankful for the process of living. My kinship with younger women is also very fulfilling. I understand the role I can play as mentor, friend, confidante, and prayer partner.

Lord, in all my relationships with women, help me to be a good friend who reflects grace, not judgement; who offers support, not competition, who gives hope, not anxiety.

One-Minute Prayers For Women

Amen! I'm truly blessed to have relationships with women of all ages that I can learn from and teach as well!

  3. Hi! I saw that you were given the Liebster award from Renee... I thought I'd come and visit your blog!
I must admit... I don't visit too many personal fitness and fashion blogs (ie: hair blogs) but I've seen more of them recently. Maybe my horizons are widening...lol!
I just cut my hair recently and you'd think it was crime or something...When it was long- I only did a couple of different hairdo's and I had just learned to do a fishtail braid too. I was slave to a pony tail!
I haven't done much with it since cutting it. (1 week)
Your hair is beautiful-- you do lots of different styles!
    So nice to meet you.

  4. Hello Corn in my Coffee-Pot! Thank you for stopping by. I feel a little embarrassed as it has been a busy week and I hadn't realized Renee had awarded me with anything. I must go over to her blog immediately. Nothing wrong with widening your horizons. My blog represents some of the things I have an interest in and am passionionate for. Weight loss being at the top! I would just like to learn how to braid to my scalp. LOL! A fishtail braid would be a bonus! Do you have a blog? Nice to meet you and thanks again for stopping by. :)
