National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is the month of National Breast Cancer Awareness. I kicked off this month with a trip to Sally Beauty Supply where I purchased a few items that will go towards the support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Through out this month, I've donated money in various establishments that are in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. You can't really go anywhere without noticing the Breast Cancer Pink Ribbon Symbol. I've also purchased food items that are marked with the pink ribbon stamp. This lets consumers know that their purchase contributes to the cause. Over the weekend, I purchased a coffee mug and pink bracelet.

How have you shown your support this month?  Blogging about it, donations, buying items that support the cause?

  2. I think many are afraid of the unknown. Better to detect it early rather than late.
