Staying fit at home

I've found that working out helps relieve my stress. I know a lot of people
do not have time or money to invest in expensive gym memberships. I've been
blessed to have access to gyms located on Post (Military Installation). Even
still, there are times I'm unable to make it to the gym, in turn, I invested
in at home workout materials. My first workout DVD purchase, was Denise
Austin's series (showing my age). I purchased free weights, a stability
ball, a jump rope, and many other gadgets to maximize my workouts. Having
something at home will allow you the flexibility to work out around a hectic
schedule. No excuses!

 




I have since gone on to build a small collection of workout DVDs. One of my
favorites being Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, consisting of three 20 minute
workouts.

  Recently for Mother's Day, my husband bought me the EA Active Personal
Trainer 2 for the Wii. I'm in love with this fitness/game DVD! I have the
flexibility of using it at anytime of the day. It comes with a monitor for
tracking your heart rate and calories burned. It's wireless, which minimizes
the need to use the Wii remote control. I've been using it for about a month and a half, and let me tell you, it's definitely improved my strength and endurance.
