Fitness Minute: Playground Workout

The Park

It was a beautiful sunny day here in Kansas (85), so I decided to take the boys over to the park. As I sat there listening to my iPod, I decided why don’t I turn this into a work out.

The park bench

I used the park bench as my workout equipment. Right behind the bench was a small hill, I used to do my cardio. I did step ups, squats, push ups, tricep dips and ran up and down the hill in between each set. I completed 30 minutes of this for a full body workout. I was able to get my fitness on and allow the kids to enjoy their time at the playground. You can pretty much work out anywhere if you use a little imagination!
